GHAL is home to the fine art work of artist Cheryl. Trained as a botanist Cheryl has increasingly turned her attention to developing her skills as an artist. The love of her garden and the Herefordshire countryside has led to a series of works concentrating on the many varied flowers and plants in the area.

Working in the media of oil, pastel, gouache and coloured pencil her paintings bring home the true character and subtle vibrancy of the flowers and plants that she loves. Other subjects range from the intricacy and colour of Celtic art designs through to accomplished pencil sketches of buildings and architectural detail.
